Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of İkimiz: Couple Widget, published by Hugo Software. By using the app you agree to them.
The service
İkimiz lets two people pair their phones and share a living home-screen widget: a shared star, status updates, coloured "lights", short notes, drawings, sealed lights that open at a moment you choose, an optional approximate distance, and a shared sky of your moments. The service needs an internet connection to keep both phones in sync.
Your account
Your account is tied to your phone: there is no e-mail address or password. To move to a new phone, create a one-time move code in the app on your old phone. If you lose your phone without creating a move code, we cannot recover the account. Keep your device secure: anyone with access to your unlocked phone can send messages as you.
You must be 18 or older to use İkimiz. The app is intended for adults in a relationship and is not directed to children.
Pairing
An account can be paired with one partner at a time. Either partner may unpair at any time. Unpairing permanently deletes the couple's shared moments from our servers and cannot be undone.
Subscription
İkimiz Premium is an auto-renewing subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly) that covers both partners of a couple. One person subscribes; both accounts receive premium features (sealed lights, every widget style, posters of your sky). The widget, sending lights, drawings, notes and your full history stay free.
- Prices are shown in the app and in Google Play in your local currency before you buy.
- Where a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends; cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase or when the trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
- If the couple unpairs, the subscription continues to belong to the account that purchased it.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play according to their refund policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use İkimiz to harass, threaten, impersonate, or send unlawful content to another person; to send content you have no right to send; or to attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
Content you send
You keep ownership of the notes and drawings you create. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and transmit that content to your partner so the service can work. We do not use your content for advertising, training, or any purpose other than delivering the service.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running, but it is provided "as is" and without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. Features may change, and we may discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hugo Software is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or messages, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page, and the date above will be updated.
