Privacy Policy

İkimiz: Couple Widget ("İkimiz", "the app", "we", "us") is published by Hugo Software. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, why, and what we never touch.
The short version
- We collect the minimum needed to keep two paired phones in sync: your display name, your e-mail address, and the things you deliberately send to your partner.
- There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK in this app. No third-party trackers of any kind. The app talks only to our own server.
- We never collect your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or advertising identifiers.
- We never sell or share your data with third parties.
What we collect
Account information. When you sign in we store a display name, an e-mail address (used only to identify your account so you can sign in again or move to a new phone), your sign-in method, and a gender preference that determines which set of activity icons the app shows you.
Pairing information. When you pair with your partner we store the link between the two accounts and the invite code used to create it.
Shared content. Everything you deliberately send to your partner is stored so it can be delivered and shown in your shared timeline: your current status (activity and feeling), light-pulses, short text notes (up to 280 characters), and drawings, which are stored as coordinates of the lines you drew.
Technical data. A randomly generated access token for each signed-in device (stored in hashed form on our server) and the time your account was last active, so your partner can see whether you are online.
What we do not collect
Location, contacts, photos or media library, camera or microphone input, calendar, call or message logs, browsing history, advertising identifiers, and device fingerprints. The app requests no runtime permissions other than internet access.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or receive your card number, billing address, or any payment credentials. We receive only an opaque purchase token from Google, which we use to confirm that a subscription is active and to unlock premium features for both partners of a couple.
Where your data is stored
On our own server hosted in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH). Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not use third-party cloud analytics, advertising or profiling services.
How long we keep it
- Shared moments are kept while you remain paired. When either partner unpairs, all shared moments of that couple are permanently deleted from our server immediately.
- Account data is kept while your account exists.
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — see the Data Removal page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Write to us and we will act on your request within 30 days.
Children
İkimiz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
